Age Difference In Dating

should age even really matter if two ppl click, though i'm not condoning a 30 yr old and a 12 yr old, but i mean if someone who has say 6 or 7 years between them, regardless to a point of their age bracket, it shouldn't matter, attraction is attraction is it not?

Under 18 you should be about the same age. Over 18, a few years apart isn't so weird.

 

meh under 18 like 1-4 yrs older is ok and like 1 or 2 years younger. and then over 18 about 5 yrs is ok. like 18 and 23. and then once u get to 30 id give it like 10 years and then 40 now ur desprate and id give 15 yrs lol

but anyway...i just made 17 and i won't "date" someone unless they r 16 or older. when i was 16 it didn't really matter as much to me though, the girl could be like 14 but since i'm so close to being 18 (i'm almost legal Gurly....just give me some time :wub: ) age matters a little more</span>

Well I think that as long you are above the age 20 then you should be able to date anybody of age.

 

Yeah like most people said. Under 18, I'd only date 2 years older and 1 year younger. Over 18, the age gap that I accepted increased so yeah...I wouldn't mind 5 years maximum. I don't want to be old and grey with some sexy youthful looking girl is on my arm ... she'd end up sleeping with other people.

 

Id say a difference in 8 years is the most I would do.

You cant really say what ages are right and what ages are wrong, you can look at this in many different ways i think the max years difference would be about 7 but say the person was 19 and the other person was 26 it wouldnt be that bad. But say the person was 16 and the other person was 9 its still a 7 year gap but that just isnt right. see what im saying?

 

I agree, it really depends on the age category we're talking about because it gets more acceptable IMO the older you are, to have bigger gaps in between ages. But if we were talking about say an 18 year old and a 26 year old, the 18 year old is legally an adult in the U.S; but if I knew the 18 year old it would kind of make me a little suspicious.

 

if your over 5 years apart then its freaky.

my gf is 2 years older than me, so its not that bad. we can relate a lot more than someone 5 years younger than me could relate.
