    yo guys. ok, i have a lot of rm videos that need to be converted to avi or better yet m4v but avi will do. but... im on a mac and i dont want to spend any money. ive searched all over and found nothing .all help is exremely appreciated.thanks

    try winAVI video converer. It does a bunch of different conversions but not m4v :P i use it when i need to make my videos a smaller file size :P

    ok ill give that a try. as long as it can make an avi quicktime will export a m4v. thanks man

    i would assume you checked google i have found a few on htere but i dont remmeber the names uhhh maybe sony vegas but idk if htat can convert movies

    sorry to spam his thread , but i have the same problem with converting things to dvd are there any free ones

    i use cucusoft for converting to Dvd....but youll have to pay

    but idk to convert from the first guy

    For Mac users, I don't know of free software out there to convert that file to AVI. But for PC's you can go to these websites and get some free software as either freeware or a trial version. http://www.doom9.org or http://www.videohelp.com. Goodluck.
