Well.. if you're "NOT CHANGING IT AGAIN".. why create a thread?

Anyhoo, yeah.. It looks good, although if you wanted it to last longer I'd spring for a Conroe

I always create a list of computer parts, then re-do it when I'm bored, I'll change a few parts, if it's better performance, but I'm not re-doing the list...

Btw, I have a GFX card I can use for now too...

Conroe is going to be wayyyyyy too expensive for my budget, eventually, I'm getting water cooling and overclocking this baby to 3.8-4.0 GHZ

the 2.1GHz GHz conroe will outperform a 4.0GHz Pentium D in most cases FYI. that 2.1 GHz conroe can easily be OCed towards 2.6-3.6GHz(depending on motherboard and ram of course)

Well, you could save on other things.. like the water cooling...

but okay. I'd get a e6300, ddr2 800 ram and overclock it to ddr2 1000, then clock it around 3ghz. It defenatly outperform that pd805.

And if you want to overclock, with this ram, it wont work. Don't get ddr2 533 but 800 or higher...

how much did that motherboard cost?

also, you can cut jsut a little on the PSU and case I beleive antec has a case/PSU combo it's the antec TX soemthing or other... includes a Antec 500WPSU

also for the PD805, you'd want atleast DDR2-667 ram if nto DDR2-800.

Nice case light ups are faggy, I suggest you go witha baracuda maxtors are really crappy, and the baracuda will be faster and higher quality for a lower price including shipping. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16822148105(the baracuda has more reveiw and is rated 5 star while the maxtor gets like a 3 or 4 star by newegg users.)
