Looks simple and easy, but I kinda like it tough. Only make the buttons a bit smaller :P

That has a lot of promise, the background is a really nice start.

    However...

    The navbuttons are too glowy...
Too much glow around the whole navbar as a matter of fact...
Its pretty much the same 2 colors everywhere...
The inner glow on the boxes looks fugly...
The > Content V News Bar thing just doesnt fit, people arnt stupid enough not to regognize content...Lets hope...
The file structure could be better, dont just put 5 htm documents in the root directory...

Really try to add a different color to the mix.

I really like your text and typography, but the basic things like the structure of the template need a bit of work.

    Also, I forgot to mention.

    Ditch
    the
    click
    to
    enter
    .

Unless your giving your viewer an option to go to different parts of your website, dont use a splash, it just wastes the users time.

    That would be better.

    Merged Post:

Picking on you a bit more...

Half of that is the same color as the background... Why not just crop it down to the actual content of the image? It would look the exact same and delivery faster loading times and save bandwidth.
