I tryed rendering for my first time, and this is what I got.
Its still not transparent, even though I saved it as a .png file.
I know its really bad, but I just want to know how to make it transparent before I can do a really clean cut.

your sure the parts are deleted when you cut them out, right? You should see the checkerboard design meaning those areas are nothing. Your probably working on a locked background layer.

    Either,
Double click the background layer to bring up its settings then hit okay.
Or duplicate the background layer then delete the original.

Also, make sure your in RGB mode, image > mode > RGB

After that, save as PNG. Anything with the checkerboard design will be transparent in the final output.
