Maybe a cheaper motherboard will come out for the Conroes. I guessing/hoping the Conroe e'6300 will be around $250 for you. anyways, gl.
939 is dead... no reason to recomend it unless there is a good deal on something now... furthermore, AMD is going to slash prices big time when Inel releases Core 2[conroe] I have to more or less backup what John said, thoughif you went with his board, get a x1600XT the CF it later if necessary(or even possible, not sure since the x2k is a fair depart in terms of architecture) if you go for a cheaper board(a few will be out fairly soon) then just get a single x800GTO, they are on the cheap side and are great performers... you'll be able to simply toss in a new graphics card later as needed.

Shut up. 939 is DEAD and dont complain about it. It's not even in production anymore. And no, it was supposed to come out on 23 Juli, but they moved it to 27. The Xtreme version was released earlyer... We should have it really soon now. Conroe owns all the current AMD processor, in the most benchmarks then.

And yes, the XE did come out on.. i think it was the 14th (I even made a ----ing topic about it.) Then they were taken off the shelves. 4 more weeks? wtf? try like 2-3 days?
