Service Packs

    I was just wondering, would I have to set up a network connection again after installing a service pack?(xpsp1a)

    I Believe not, but you can always do it. Plus the latest is xpsp2 not sp1. ;)

    no... btw, why not install SP2?

    I heard that programs stop working after installing SP2 and I'm just trying to avoid the hassle of getting them to work again.

    in my experiance, programs never stopped working after sp2, sp2 is much more secure.

    Id have to agree with viper, SP2 is much more secure and never have I had a program not working after an upgrade.

    Okay then, I guess I'll install SP2 and hope that nothing goes wrong afterwards.
