Acer Bios

    Does Acer lock there BIOS on there laptops?
    Caus eI want to overclcok the CPU.

    I don't suggest you OC a laptop.... that's all I have to say about that.

    yeh you don't want your laptop to blow up on your lap m8 ;)

    The heatsink is small on the processors, and there is no fan bringing in cool air on the heatsink.
    1) You won't want to
    2) It probably won't give you the feature in the bios. And Acer doesnt have its own bios, it probably uses American Megatrands, Pheonix, etc.

    Unless you are refering to their desktops. They probably have that locked too. They don't want people overclocking the processor and then having the customers sending their computer back and lying that they didnt OC.
