The funniest thing about this whole thread is the person complaining about "noob" is using a form of leet speak himself.

Newbie is where it all came from therefore Newb, would be the condensed version. Not NOOB.

Newbie and newb are used to make fun of someone who is just starting with a game or something. Noob is more commonly used to describe someone who sucks at life and everything they do. At least that's how I learned it.

 

Yeah, but most people who are "newbs" are "n00bs" as well until they prove themselves other wise.

nub = the gayest word ever made up. Its actually just noob or newb, but people had to rape it so it became nub
