I have seen in some sigs, where they have the render in the center, and then branching off from it are bars of colors, exactly the same as the render, how can one do that in a sig?

    heres an example.

The line braching off in the colors from temari, thats what im talking about. i wish to know how to do those.

i'm not sure, but i think they use motion blur. Put the settings on Angle : 0 and Distance : 100 or so.

    Hope i helped ;)

i'm not sure what lines you are talking about but it looks like swirl brushes to me unless you are talking about the background which is pixel stretch.

That's pixel stretch, you can find some decent tutorials on those in the Tutorials section - it's a pretty old technique though.

Basically you take out a 1-row selecting tool, you select a part of the render that looks nice, and you use the Transform tool to stretch it out.

Yeas, as has been said, you can do it by either motion blure (with the right settings) or pixel stretch, the latter being the best option.
