every once in a while (ex. goes from 15 secs, to 1 min, to 5 min) the colors of my screen turns green/blue for like a second. It pretty anoying, and it hasnt happenned to me before. Im wondering if i can make it stop, and if its good or bad.

Sounds like your video card may be going out.

This sounds like you have either bent the cord more than 30% of the circumfrence and got a short or you have something loose. I am not sure about the theory of your GFX card going sour because last time I checked they didn't flash colors while dying but, it is possible I suppose. If it is CRT then I would check cords... if it is plasma... life expectency may be the issue sure enough, LCD... not much to worry about, just check the cords as well.

This has happened to me before but instead I was getting different colours. How old is your video card and how old is your monitor? Are your coords bent in any way or coming out? I know that my coords were bending slightly which caused the colour to change from normal to a pinky-red colour. Sometimes in rare times, the monitor is old and that may be giving out as well..

    Snipe. ;)

You mean you diddn't know what those 2 bolts on both sides do? Oh dear lord.. lol. You should see if the little anchors are there, and if the screws are going into anything when you screw it into the computer.. The screws are what hold the connector in place, making it not fall out LOL. Sounds like that was your problem.
