This movie is an altime great and was [unlike the first one] loved by critics [except for a couple] and was highly talked about. Some say it's plot is totally mist placed but I say that the plot was great! Funny, entertaining, lots of action, love and most of all greatly designed characters and lots of fun! Might I add; this movie is 1# in America! I give it a 9.72/10 Main Cast: Johnny Depp - Captain Jack Sparrow - Main Peice of This Movie Orlando Bloom - Will (William) Turner - Madly in love with Elizabeth Swann and risks anything for her. Keira Knightley - Elizabeth Swann - Searching for her lover (Will) but soon to be discovered not to be her lover to finish the marriage and get him back. Bill Nighy - Davy Jones - The captain of the Flying Dutchman also is the owner of the heart in the Dead Man's Chest. Jack Davenport - James Norrington - Awaiting information, pm if you have the details. Stellan Skarsgard - 'Bootstrap' Bill [Bill Turner Father of Will Both Short For William] - Crewman on the Flying Dutchman, bets on a game to help his son [Will] has to work on the Flying Dutchman for the rest of his life because he lost the bet. Also gives Captain Jack Sparrow the Black Mark [awaiting picture, pm me if you have a good one] Kevin R. McNally - Joshamee Gibbs - Firend of Sparrows and Crewman of the Black Pearl [Sparrows ship.] Jonathan Pryce - Governor Weatherby Swann - Elizabeth Swann's father, helps to get her out of jail. Naomie Harris - Tia Dalma - Mystic gives the crew clues to the Dead Mans Chest and also looks at Sparrows palm, sees the Black Mark and gives him a jar of dirt. [When he finds the Dead Man's Heart he then places the heart into the jar, but then horrificly finds out it is gone (It was stolen by one of his crewmen)] [awaiting picture, pm me if you have a good one] Tom Hollander - Lord Cutler Beckett - First proposer to Elizabeth, later finds out she likes Will and then turns against them and puts Elizabeth in jail and tells Will to go and find Sparrow and bargain with him to give him his compass that doesn't turn left in exchange for his release and Sparrows freedom and employment. It was an alright movie, long as hell though. I thought they could have dulled down the fight scenes, like the one on the island were they are fighting over the chest and the key (which they lost the damned chest because of that), that scene could have been chopped in half atleast, pointless. I also love the fact that no one died...well not really. I liked it and it was entertaining, but it was like watching LOTR.
