    ok as be for im building a computer for my moms place but this time i am getting the parts sense i now have the money heres what i have already

    250W PSU
    ATI PCI 9250 128MB
    CPU Cooler
    Ex Fan

    other stuff i have is a 5200 and a 6200 AGP

    my spending limit is 150 to 200 bucks

    ok thats good. I agree with that. just take the 2x 256mb ram and stick only 1x 512mb ram stick in.

    sytem you had on default isn't bad given the budget restraints...

    again as was said, only use 1 DIMM of ram, socket A does nto support running memory in dual channel so no reason to bother...

    i don't know about that particular board, but I hear on the AMD forums that ePox was one fo the most prefered manufacturers. it has a via chipset though, so overclocking will be limited(not like it matters with that PSU)

    Um... Why don't you get a CD/DVD R-RW instead of two seprate? After adding those prices... $17+$14 = $31 (plus 2x shipping), a NEC CD/DVD R-RW is $30.
