Mechassault 2 is awesome! I've it and it is excellent. The different freedoms you're granted add to the playability and the online play is fun. Campaign is also enticing, as well.

If you've Xbox Live, add: Mattia Family

ehh....I hated the first mechassault, it's kind of lame running around in these machines shooting rockets at each other. Maybe i'll try MA2 and it'll be different for me...

Mech Assault 2 is awesome in some ways but if you were good at the first one their is a 75% chance you won't like it. You cant pick your mech and the mechs are slower.
But if you werent that great at mech 1, didnt like it or never played it then I suggest you buy it.

Borrowed number 1 played it, was good if you've got friends around and alot of snacks...

Then played 2 at a friend's house...It was truly awesome, gotta hand it to them, online play is the best.

I was pretty good at MA1, but I'm even better at MA2. The non-selecting of picking mechs is much better as the teams are balanced.
