Good Virus Scanner

Hey, I realli need a good virus cleaner but perferr it to be free . I reformatted my PC and i didnt get a virusscaner so, i been having trouble with my Pc, i am noticing thngs i dudnt see before such as new installation, new icons. If you have a good virusscaner post here. If i have to buy one, i'll convince my mom to pay for it. Thank you

 

I use McAfee. It came with my pc. It's good, I like it. It scans and all that good stuff.

i'm using Norton Internet Security 2006 and i don't worry about viruses

 

nod32 is teh best ...but i dont think it is free

 

nah nod32 has a30 day trial =/

Yeah Avast! or AVG are great free scanners, avast! is a little heavier with better real-time protection, but the scans take a LONG time, AVG is a lot lighter with pretty good detection also

I Use AVG Not Had Any Viruses

 

I've found NOD32 to be a great anti-virus scanner. It's not free but it's great. Lower on resources than the Nortons or McAfee's and still very quick.
