    Best for gaming.... uh huh....

    Linux would run games better if there were more games.

    even under emulation, Linux distributions tend to kill Windows in games like Doom III, UT04, and WoW because windows is built on ----.

    best for being abel to setup a game without a headache, yes, best for gaming performance, NO. Anything running under OpenGL(DirectX is made by microsoft and is hard to hack acceptable compatability for legally, though cedega allows for acceptable performance in DX) will run better on linux distributions or OSX than in windows if compatability is hacked.

    I use Mac OS X and Ubuntu 6.06. I only use Winblows when I have to, which is at my high school. Even then, I can't wait to get home and use a non-Windows OS :eek:

    Windows, my games run on it, programs i have won't work on other stuff and i can't be bothered getting another operating system for the hell of it when i really don't need one.

    Although in the rediculously long holidays coming up i may try the latest vista beta.

    I'm using windows xp home now and when I reformat I'll be installing pro.
