Well another summer, another And1 Mixtape tour. This was my third year and I'm still lovin it. For the people that don't know, it's a streetball tour that goes around the country and is pretty sick. Got some free stuff and autographs/pictures with some of the streetballers at the Open Run. Anyone else heard/gone to And1?
Awww man. It's so cool in person. You get all the free stuff and whatnot...I love the ESPN show...I wish they made some of the newer seasons on DVD. <_<
Yeah I just don't feel like going out to Brooklyn or Philly for a day, that and I'm too white and will get jumped kidding.
Yeah I'm white. Had to go to the United Center. Not that bad of a neighborhood...Just don't wanna be walking after dark.
aw i wish i could go my friend has all the and1 dvds and ive seen most of them hot sauce is sick i like main event too
and 1 is all good and all but i've seen some and 1 players compete with people not even on the professional level, but just on the collegiate level and they dont compare. honestly they are just a bunch of entertainers nothing more nothing less. they play good streetball and stuff but when it comes to the real deal they are in no comparison to nba players. skip is the truth though, one of the few to make it out of streetball.
man that aint a factor, i lived in philly ppl know me, im white also, so just gimme a ring if you need assistance lol >.>
Skip 2 My Lou, AKA Rafer Alston plays on the Hoston Rockets, but I agree that they couldn't keep up with college players...They missed a whole bunch of shots...Yet, it is a different type of basketball.
best And1 for me is A.O and Spyda. Hot Sauce is good, but to "main stream" Spyda, is the first man to hang upside down in a basket ball game i usually watch the show whenever i can, ive played the video game its pretty sweet wish i could go to a show, but i live in Canada, eh?
Yea im aussie and when they came downunder they did a few spots here, like the 3 on 3 tour, winner played off. Streetball was big here, two years ago but the hype has faded, its still cool i don't ball anymore since i dislocated my knee again and i lost the love for it. As for them not comparing to NBA ( U.S level ) prehaps, i doubt it though, there are two different sets of rules its hard to compare, if street players played NBA rules i think they would slip up too often, but i do think they would out shoot them and out play them with combos and plays, but the defense would lose to solid shooting ect.... But if NBA played street, they would get served, with exception for a few players. Street ball to me is like Break dancing, its just a break off of the real deal and more a expression of creativity with a street feel.
ya those guys are sick. Hot sauce and sik with it are my favs Also im pretty sure 1 or 2 guys on the and1 street team play in the NBA. They never gonna come to alberta though
