    well doesnt it effect what you enter the in the url bar? so its easier to enter a website.

    Theyre not gone, go to
    C:\Documents and Settings\<name>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<werid number+letter combo>\bookmarkbackups

    Whoa, easy there..
    You don't have to do any of that crap, that's insane...
    All that happened was you switched profiles by accident..

    Here,
    Then you just choose the correct profile and you're back in buisness.
