i am just woundering if anyone know what the lastest version of direct x is i have

DirectX 9.0c

Version: 4.09.00.0904

 

yer your up to date dood, their only relasing dx10 with vista so thats the most your getting

so once vista comes out no more updates for XP .... is it possible installing vista over my xp and keeping the programs what come with my pc?

 

There will be plenty of support for XP when vista comes out. Heck, they just stopped supporting windows 98 a couple of weeks ago.

yes, your direct X support is mroe or less gone... especially since no DX10 compliant chips are out save for Xeonos, and there is no way in hell you can get xenos to work on a PC

 

Yes, but if your card isn't too old, it should be compatable for dx10, even though it didnt come with it.

 

If you're serious, what version of Photoshop d'you use on your Windows 95?

 

He just sold his Opteron system. He is buying a new system when the other Conroes come out.
