This is a tutorial for more of the intermediate/advanced designers. It can also be done with a beginner but might take some work. Therefore, I will try to detail it as much as I can. Lets begin: Part 1 1. Make a new canvas set to your likings (I use 375x118 pixels) 2. Select 2 colors from your foregroud and background (TIP: Use oranges/browns/greens to start off with) 3. Select a favorite brush set and start brushing on each layer you make (Here is a pic of what you should look like after 10-15 layers Note: I did 12 layers and on layer 7 I switched to brigher orange and magenta 4. Now add a color balance This is what I got. Congratulations! You have now finished the background! Part 2 Now, dont dont close the background you have just created. Keep it open. Here is how to make a blending text with multicolors. 1. Reset your colors by pressing 'd'. 2. Make your text, on top of your color balance layer, in a white color with no blending options yet. 3. Now, drag your text layer under your color balance. (EX: I dragged it under layer 8) This is what it should look like or similar. 4. Add a 1 pixel black stroke (and/or other options) For the text above, I used: -Drop Shadow - Default Inner Shadow - 38% -Outer Glow - 63% -Bevel & Emboss - 41% depth --Countor - 21% --Texture ------- FINISHED SIGNATURE ---------- ---------------------------------------------- Enjoy! Signature Information: The brush set I used was the r06_rustNgrunge Note: I am the owner of http://www.3pic-designs.com for those that know XER0 on this forum.
Makes a cool background, pretty cool text design, but looks a little bland, needs a C4D Render or Gaming render or something.
Yeah, but this is a tutorial so I dont have to get all picky about what it should look like. Its just an example. Thanks for the feedback guys.
you say its detailed, it isnt VERY detaild, but thats irrelevant. looks a little plain/bland for me. and imo the text looks horrible, but thats just me dont get your panties in a bundle over it
