Excuse my ignorance on this 'boring' sport(Australian football ftw) but isn't contact allowed in soccer as long as your hands are not involved? I've seen some extreme clips of soccer where a person takes others down via their feet or what not, and penalities were not called.
well of curse there are people not playing buy the rules. Every game have it. There is no contact allowed that all in soccer.
please. The moment the ref turns their back. anything is fair game. What Zidane did, while not neccesarily the right thing to do, is justified. I would've done worse. and that Italian guy faked that one all the way anyways. Similar to what Ronaldo did against S. Korea in 02.

I think the guy deserved more than a headbutt. There is a certain line you should never cross. He crossed it.
