I dont think its 8 ghz of processing, I was told thbat dual core doesnt neccessarily your virtualk processing power, but nice job nonetheless.

How far do you think I could bring my pentium D 920 (2.8) on air cooling?

umm no, by definition that isn't 8.16GHz...

his ALUs are runnign at 8.16 GHz thuogh... only thing is his processor only has 2 ALUs, compared to the 3 or 4 industry standard.

Yes, but it wont matter in a matter of months. Maybe more toward the end of the year. I want to see what the kensfield brings out. If it takes till December. I may have to wait till the first of 2007 but I want to see what kind of stuff the Conroe is going to influence with that new FPU and everything. I also would like to know what kind of operations per clock the Conroe is going to be pushing. I will find out. Then I will put the Conroe on water and try this again. Then bitch at me Xelink, then bitch. XD

you realize that conroe will have nearly double the performance per clock over netburst, right... architecture is a serious improvement over netburst and you knwo just as well as I do that until K9L comes out that it will be the undisputed performance champion on 1 and 1P systems(though k8 has an advantage on systems with more processors due to the IMCs, direct connect architecture and faster system bus)

Nice one AKW, I guess you didn't use your bios? Did you changed the CPU voltage?
