Remove it, all it does is make more work fro the Mods. It is being abused so much lately. Lately you can't even state your opinion without being -repped cause someone disagrees. People have abused it and ruined it for the members that have been treating it and using it for wat its meant to be used for.

Its not as though it is used properley when giving (+)reps now, if you do renders you will have alot more reps than someone else that could deserve it alot more

The actual point of the section is to make our jobs easier. Instead of people having to PM a mod to get a rep removed, it is posted in a topic where all mods can see it easily. This way problems get solved quicker and we get less PMs.

That's like saying disable posting because people don't use it right when they spam. Things will always be abused or used wrongly, people are too idiotic to understand why it's there and they don't get how to use it.

It's always been abused a lot, only now we actually see how much because people use the forum and not the PM system.

I vote to not disable the rep system but to increase the required amount of posts needed to use it.

Your post was just as useless, wasn't very nice of you to call him a newbie either; we were all at one point of time. -_-

As for removing the Rep System, how else would people base you are trustworthy or not? I know for a fact that I use the reputation system everyday to determine if I should trust somebody or not... would you loan 1000 credits to somebody if you didn't know how trustworthy they were? But I can see why you wanted to remove it.. but it's just needed IMO.

    Snipe. ;)

The rep system is literally for reputation.

Though many of the reputations given are for unimportant reasons, it gives members a sense of trust towards others.

    I vote it stays.

It's really not that much work for us staff.

Snipe, he wasn't talking about that kid who posted about the post requirement being raised. He meant new guys in general spamming more so they can give out rep points man.

I agree with Snipe, it should stay because then you trust different people more, where as if it wasn't here, no-one would sell/buy anything and it will just be spam all over forums.

    Payney. ;)
