It's just been on the news then, an italian lip reader says that he can see Matterazzi telling Zidane to calm down after he pinched him, then after Zidane said something back (he was turned away from the camera so no one can tell) Matterazzi then said to Zidane "I wish a horrible death on you and your family" or something along those lines, before telling him to "go **** yourself". I suppose the only reason he reacted so violently is because Zidane found out that his mother is seriously ill just before the match and for someone to say that to him is pretty inhumane.

He said "Islamic Terrorist". He definetly deserved more than this(Plus 80% of it was acting on materazzis part): I'd say , with what that guy said to him, he kinda still managed to keep his cool. If I was him I wouldve done things much worse to that guy if he said that about my family. Zidane still remains my favorite player with full respect.
soccerplayers Both pretty famous I think as a professional soccer player, you should never react on this kinda things, i know what Materazzi did was wrong, but he got what he wanted: A red card for Zidane.
