Hey i must have turned something off and now of course i cant find it...when in a folder such as "my pics" under each pic it used to have a short description of the file type. You know like .png .jpg or whatever..how in the world do i get that back...thanks
you mean the extension? assuming you're using XP: Open the folder Tools Folder Options View Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"
no problem...my dad asked the same question about a week ago and had to figure out then...i normally know what the extension is though so that's why i have mine hidden
