right, is there a way to install a theme that will apply only to my account and not my parents ?? because i hate this boring default theme and i want a costom one. But when i installed one my dad got mad and made me uninstall it, so i was wondering if theres a way to install a theme that will only modify my account and will change NOTHING in the others

how old is the system you have? if you know whatto do you can build a low end system for around 300$ and add in an old, used DCRT monitor without much dificulty

    also, see pinned threads...

EDIT: 1024*768? how can you stand that I want 11*9 or 12*10 and up...

rank it as high as it will go and tell your oparrents about view>>zoom or Ctrl + +

I got my mom to adopt 1024*768... she has 20/200 vision...
    thank god I'm 20/20

windows blinds will still appear on both accounts...

edit: unless theres an option when installed to apply it to all users or the current user.

but still, wb on a 128mb system will slow it down alot...

windows blinds will lag with only that much ram. Try visual styles . It requires the patching of uxtheme.dll. Google it :D

no need. just look in the pinned area..

and you cannot have different skins for different users... unless you are smart at the registry...

just use the UXtheme, quite simple uses very few resources

and yes a 300$ low-end system will literally rape that POC you current have...

    if 512mb doesn'tcut it anymore...
and windows XP uses around 180mb

    think about it...
