Security On Forum

I want to start a discussion about the safety of the forum

because i got an email ike 2 hours ago about someone trying to get into my account.

so it seems people just pick a name on the member list and see whos premium or not so they can see if they can get it.

Anyone had the same thing? if so please say something about your thoughts.

 

i haven't had it before, but i'm changing my passwork every month,

i have no premium account or something, but still!
normally, if you have a good password, they can't acces your account, because the forum send an email to the owner of the accounts email, and to no-one else!

so don't be afraid, just make sure you have a hard password to crack!

 

To combat the issue, change your passwords often, use different #'s symbols and characters.

I've had this happen on 2 accounts lol, not a big deal as you just activate it with the email GR sends you.

 

Ony my other acc, i have to unlock it alot of times. I dont see why, its not premium. Its just member #31 with 9.3k creds

theres been a few people lately...
but they mostly target people with high creds and such...

 

My donator ha sbeen threatened 8 times lol i hate it and i never change my password

 

I have never changed my password and no one has ever gotten into my account

 

The e-mail saves you. I don't see how they could steal it unless they somehow guess your password correctly.
