im not following the thread but i gotta say this: its so funny watching soccer then when someone gets a foul or something and you watch the persons face like they are in pain then you just make your self think he is faking it then the person looks hella funny

Anwyays the guy who says that the usa was theonly team to score a goal to italy didnt watch the last game probably? i think that some other teams also scored, altough i cant remember im not much into italy altough i think they deserved winning the WC, except for the fact they robbed Australia... For those who didn't know apparently Mazzerati said to Zidane : Heh, what a legend. I know its bad on his mother because she critically ill in hospital but was there really a need for that extreme headbutt? He just scarred his career with that and if he is a professional then these type of things shouldn't end up with him doing that. It's not as if it doesn't happen in football because it does, but I think it was taken to the extreme by Zidane. I think that he was thinking : "Well, it's my last match and this guy has pissed me off, I might as well take my anger out." In that case, I probably would have done it too. But I still think it was extreme.

diving is illeagle italy shouldnt have even made the semi's cuz they took a dive in the australian box in the last few seconds match fixing is worse and insulting players to get them to react is just as bad (Zidane) i mean in the australia italy match it looks like hes going to run around lucas neil and shoot but the qwickly changes direction and dives over him dragging his foot over neil. i mean the option was there just to hammer the ball in with out a penalty but schwartzer is just too good and he didnt want to risk it the big wussy girl....................................................... and if anyone tries to say divongs leagle they are wrong i have played footbal for 10 years now and seen every diver sent off or yellow carded
I would never want those frenchie -------s to win anything. Italy is a good team, skill wise. GREAT defense and a GREAT goalie. They deserve the win. Those french le ----s are a bunch of ass holes, especially that zidane character. What a moron. Nice sportsmanship your french ----s.
I've recently been to Italy. I went a few days before the World Cup started. The places I was at didn't really seem interested in the World Cup. I think a team like Brazil should've won it. Maybe even Portugal since they're not as well of as Italy or other countries are. On another note, dives are part of the game now. It's a lot less physical than it used to be. Italy may not have been the best team but they still won. Simple as that.

Well, I think poorly of france now. Zidane ended his carrer with a red card, not a good way to go mind you, and now I frown down upon France. On the other hand I rooted for Italy all the way through the World Cup. And im glad they won. When the played Germany and got two goals within the last minute I was screaming with joy. Because German would have killed Italy in a penalty kick session. I also think Brazil played very poorly against France, it seemed that Brazil had no idea what was happening thinking it was going to be an easy win for them. Just what I think... ya know.
Italy won. Maybe they didnt deserve it. Maybe they did. But the fact is, theres nothing that can be done about it... Awesome video by the way :wub:
here we go again.... ok, IMO Italy didn't deserve to be there, but they did. I personally like England, but they always choke. I woulda like portugal to win it, but Italy did, fine. They'll never get another one till 2040. Whoever said Brazil sucked and stuff never actually looked at who they were against. They had no challenges whatsoever, so they weren't ready for a hard game. Lastly. Soccer is all acting. You got a beef with it? I don't care. I play soccer at a competitive level here in Canada, and it's all acting. Get over it. Italy was smart by training to fake a foul. It's a tactic used to win. Final piece of advice: practice your friggin penalty kicks. England lost because of them (again) and so did france. For all of you that place soccer, aim hard for the low corners, a keeper can never get them if you place them properly (i used to be a keeper, now a striker/midfield). -razgriz-
