There are 4 nominees for "Best moment":

    Kobe Bryant: 81 point game

    Dakoda Dowd: LPGA Attemp

Jason McElwain: The autistic kid who came off as manager to sink 6 three pointers in 4 minutes.

    George Mason: Final 4 Run

The thing is, America is a very... feel good nation... we want to feel good about ourselves and when we see a touching story such as this, most people would feel good to see a kid like that overcome his disability and play. The problem is, that I'm worried that he'll win not bc of whay he accomplished, but of who he is. I think the George Mason defeating the #1 seed and moving on to their first ever Final 4 was MUCH more impressive and that they deserve to win the best moment award. What do you guys think?

You said it right, McElwain will most likely win it because he's autistic. What I hate most about that McElwain deal is the fact that autism doesn't impede him physically, it's all mental. The fact that all of this hooplah is still going on is just complete bull crap if you ask me. Sure, he's autistic. Sure, he did something great but given the chance, any other kid in his position could've done the same. None of this would've happened had he missed those shots and not scored 20. His 15 minutes of fame are up, so stop making the autistic kid feel special and treat him like a real person.

As for what I think was the Best Moment, GMU going to the Final Four.

It's pretty cool how Kobe scored 81, and it IS a tough feat anyway, but you gotta remember that

    1) It WAS the raptors

    2) He was the only one who they were passing to that game

If you pass me the ball each possession to score, of course I'm gonna rack up 60 plus points. Wade could pull that off if the Heat gave him the ball each possession. So, while definately something amazing to see, the Final 4 was still the most memorable.

    That was amazing.

But it was aginst the Raptors. If it were against the Pistons, then it would be that much better. I'm going with George Mason.
