ok my IE browser is running SOOOOOOO slow. i just downloaded 'portable firefox' and my IE started running slow on every since website i go to. i have no idea what cache is so: 1.what is cache 2.will deleting cache speed up my browser? 3.how do you delete cache
cache is an area set asside for high speed retreiveal of data potentially, but I wouldn't expect it. go to temp internet folder and delete it. a better solution is to simply not use IE6. Firefox and Opera are both excellent(and faster, especially Opera) and if you absolutely insist on using IE, use IE7. also, the problem is likely from spyware/adware/malware and related. IE is fairly vulnerable, it is built into windows. Run system scans
