    Does anyone kno of a free faster defragger than the default windows 1? but still does as good?

    i usually just run it overnight like when i go to sleep :eek:

    It takes that long....the norm windows one does mine within 20 mins.

    Fast drive, big cache... better speed. Either way, this is resolved. I talked to him and got him a "free" one so it's fine.

    it isn't the most efficient...

    but to me I don'
    t care it is free and effortless and NTFS doens't get fragmented that much.

    last itme I defragged...

    I'm thinking 3 years ago on my old PIII system... took around 2 hours for a 8GB drive.

    Im thinking here people just want another one for the hell of it so they can just say they are not using the windows one, i don't think there is really a need for another one.
