Buying New Hardware ( Hd,enclosure Case And Ram)

    alright m8s here is the objective

    I need a 160gb Hd with an enclosure case max is 225$

    I need a 1gb 333mhz with ddr pc2700 for at the most is 130$

    and thats it so if u guys can find me a deal that would be great !

    you're better off getting it from newegg

    pcclubs charges too much imo

    get DDR400 sdram it has better performance(well potential for performance atleast) and costs less sincepretty much noone makes DD333 anymore. It is backwards compatable.
    you can get the ram for as low as 70-80ish

    and just to put it into contrast... the DDR rating thingy is the max the guarantee it to run at(even though you can often go a fair amount higher). you could quite easily set it to tighter timings at DDR333(assuming you wouldn't have other ram bottlenecking the timings but even so it wouldn't really matter.)
    if you are willing to tolerate the hassle of a 10$ rebate this is about a cheap as it gets and has decent timings... only really matters if you have a system with an adjustable bus or timing settings though(at DDR333 you could likely run 2-2-2-7 timings, or you could set the ram to DDR400 to overclock your system...)
