    Haven't made many at all though. Im fine with those I have.

    What is .icon? maybe show us a preview

    you can only use a pic as a icon if its a icon file but i dont know where you can make it into that type... and preview wont help you will just learm what i told you.

    .ico is the standard format for icons you use on your desktop, and the little GR icon in the URL bar if you're using Firefox or Opera.

    Yeah, here's a good program for you. Coffeecup Free Icon Studio. I really like it. Sorry I didn't put it in my other post, but I was still looking for it. Here's the download:

    Nvm, I just redownloaded it, and it doesn't work anymore. Try googling Icon Studio or something.

    Youse Photoshop 7. It can save images in .ico format. I use that to make Fav Icons but it can be used to make any icon. Once you have the image ready go to save as and in the drop down list .ICO is available to choose.
