Microsoft Movie Editor is a good one...

Erm... anything else... that is a very variable question... money involved... things you are looking for... etc.

i would use several programs, they all have their strengths, and since u dont have a budget, that would do, but for simple editing, windows movie maker and u have that on ur comp already

Adobe Premiere is the only way to go on Windows.
FinalCut Pro for Mac is the best there is, but you probably can't exactly run that one...

    Hmm?
Adobe premier has good ratings. Window's is excellent for basic editing but looks cheap with effects so will not work for anything proffesional. Also i've seen some gaming movies done with Sony Vegas and they looked good, though have not tryed myself. Good luck finding the right one! :)
