as far as I remember venom is not the symbiotic life form. Venom is Brock (or what ever he is called) fused with the symbiotic life form...
black spiderman = symbiote spiderman. venom = eddie brock + symbiote carnage = cleedis cassidy + different symbiote osbourne becomes green goblin, some other guy peter knows is hob goblin, hes gwen stacy's boyfriend or something in the comics. carnage is not the same as venom, its a different symbiote. i think carnage is stronger. but the reason i know they arent the same, is that carnage can mold himself. venom cant. i beileve eddie brock it the guy at the bell tower who says "Parker?" cuz thats how he became venom before. i saw this trailer when i saw superman, i was in awe of it.
