    After talking to master AKW and exlink for 4 hours we have came up with this. ALL under 480 including shipping for me. What do you think? can you find anything cheaper with same power or better?

    that is a viable option for a budget minded person. only thing he'd have to do is switch over to DDR1 ram...
    given the fact that is' 80$ less and economy is an issue I'd say go for it, sure the boards not quite as good and it's not as "future-proof" but it's only 60% the price for 99-105% of the performance...

    lol. xelink made sure to tell me D's are very bad which was what i had. I wasnt expecting to get all this. lol. Anyway If i switch over it wouldnt have the same power so i dont think ill change that thanks for the advice tho

    Celeron Ds...

    Pentium Ds are acceptable for the most part... well with OCing.. but...

    I'll dig up a good set of DDR1 ram off newegg to use with that combo jimbo found

    hey what if i use my 512 ram from my dell? BTW im not poor or anything its just a bad time for me now. My dad just bought a business and we bought a new house at the same time. Anyway I need about 100 more bucks then i can order it so ill probibly have it in 2 or 3 weeks so i can order it in late july early aug.

    you could reuse the 512mb strip if it's DDR(which it most likely is) but for most modern games 1GB+ is prefered. Battle field 2 is quite ram hungry, it 'forced' a lot of people to upgrade to 2GB

    also, in 2-3 weeks, that deal on tiger directmight not be there.

    how many hard drives can i put in it? and how many ram thingys can i put in it? And i dont really wanna play BF2 its just so i can play other games later that require power

    4 modules of RAM...

    1 HDD for every SATA port.
    any 4 eIDE devices(shared with CD/DVD drives)

    what hes getting s DDR2, only if his Dell has DDR2, will he be able to transfer..

    you most liekly won't be able to run the ram at 1T nor dual channel. performance hit shouldn't exceed 10% but... 10% performance hit because of a 7-8% price cut is stupid in my opinion, especially when you can still keep the single ram stick for other use
