Cannot View Videos Or Anything

ok well heres the deal, I have firefox but I cannot view any movies and most flash items. I can't even view the upload button on megaupload.com! they all just come up with an image like this:



can somebody please help me because its really annoying and frustrating

 

Happened to me before..
How did I fix it you ask!
Idk...I think it fixed after I got a new PC meaning a reformat...
I'd say create a new profile for firefox and see if that works. And/or reinstall flash and quicktime and any codecs u had before.

Create a new FF profile by goin to Start-Run and type in
firefox -p

 

yea do what he aid install quixktime and macromedia flash again umm you can get a codec pack which helped me out alot from here http://www.free-codecs.com/Codec_Pack_All_in_1_download.htm it has all codecs for win xp that you will prolly need

 

or. Tools > Options > Clear Cache/Clear Cookies. that usually works for me when nothing shows

 

huh? I'm not that great with comp stuff other than ps lol
I cleared my cache and cookies that didn't do anything

 

Go to Tools -> Extentions and just make sure Quicktime and Shockwave are installed.

 

only thing installed is talkback, I just click get more extensions and find quicktime and shockwave?

My RealMedia and RealPlayer crap can't play, same problem, done everything, don't know why =\

 

I cna't find quicktime anywhere, but I got shockwave installed. It still doen't show shockwave in extensions though :|

restart the computer, if that doesnt help uninstall it then reinstall it

 

Download the actual program, Quicktime. It probably wont be an extension.

You didn't mention if Flash files work, yet. If they don't, try installing the Flash Player by downloading the setup.
