Um.. if its there from the start then you will have to either cut the white out or select all the white area and delete iot.

However, if its already transparent and only appears with the white background after you try and save it as a .jpeg, then select .png format. It keeps the transparency.

Go to Render requests, post the image there and they will cut for you, maybe donate some creds too. ;)

    Yay!
You changed your text color from eye burning yellow to some sort of green/blue smoothy looking color.
And yeah...check the render/premium renders section.

Easiest if you just get someone to render it for you.

Or if there's no white/light colours around the edge try the magic wand tool for a quick fix

depends on the complexity of the object (assuming you're going to do it yourself). if it's a defined solid object without a lot of intricacy, then use the magic wand. it'll get rid of all the white without a problem. However, if it's a complicated image on a white background with transparency and a lot of fine lines in the image. then you'll have to cut it out. For more info on that, please go to http://www.gamerenders.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=141384

although you can ask for it to be cut out for you. I would only do that if you're desperate. Cutting things out on a white background is awsome practice for a beginner (i'm not much further ahead than that...so I would know lol)
