No, there arent defects. But as other threads in this forum suggest, the x1800 is around $40-$50 less and the preformance that it lacks compared to the 7900's and can overclocked to match its preformance. For the KO superclocked, I'm not sure if it can match its preformance, but it is less money. However, if you have around #350ish for a gfx card, the x1900 is a viable choice.

x1800XTs went upin price and the 7900GTs came down...

performance wise they are on par at stock i'd say the 7900 slightly ahead, but after OCing he x1800 dominates. Price isn't much of an isue given this.

if possible I'd wait until conroe it's out next month...

It will. Most motherboards are some kind of variety of ATX, and i dont know many cases that are ONLY Micro ATX and/or Baby ATX, most are just in general, ATx; which means all types of ATX can fit it.

pretty much all motherboard s will fit any case. unless the case is horrendously small.

it costs the case manufacturer about 10 cents to make a case everything compatable given the case is well sized...

can't see the page because newegg is ebing a little bitch, but remember, it's the motherboard that determines if it fits ina given case, not the processor, and current previews of conroe boards show them as following ATX standards for the most part.

    still can't
I'm willing to bet $100 that 99% of ATX cases will work though
