Network Connections...

Well.. I used to have two.. but now I have 3... it's really weird, and ever since I got the third one I've been disconecting many times.. so.. does anyone know how it installed? It couldn't be my router, I've had my router for a while and this just recently appeared..

all that does is makes a shortcut from your lan connection.

I think they added that in SP2 or something, do not disable the top one..

 

That's the problem, it doesn't enable... I right click enable and it says : ... enabled... and it's stil tehre 'disabled'...

 

umm, why do you have two? you just need one...

 

I never touch that, they just appear..

do you have 2 nics on your system, one onboard, the other on a card? eliminate one then...

nic= network interface card, windows counts your firewire card as an nic...

 

I use a router as well, but I have one nic...

Erm, no clue where to find those. Remeber.. BEFORE I only had 2 of those.. now the third one popped out..

 

try to disable your firewire connection..

the third one is nothing but a shortcut to your main connection..

 

So I disable the 1934? Then what?
