Photo Shop Help

    Okay if i find a render i want to use on this site and i copy and paste it has a white background and when i try to make my sig the whiteback ground always ruins it as if i smudge and add a new layer the white background covers the other layers smudge i changed it to overlay but its still there how do i get rid of this annoying white background on renders theres even if on my own renders that ive saved into my computer

    right clcik the render and save as...

    when you find a render on a site... do that ^^^

    Ya, copy and paste doesn't support trnasparency when you copy out of a browser...
    As theys aid just save it with right-click and open it up in photoshop...

    or just drag it and drop it into photoshop

    I think you can just erase the white background by using the magic eraser......

    the magic eraser can leave jeggedy edges etc...
    one of the main points ofa render is that they have clean cut lines

    I know it's been answers so i'll just support the correct answer. C+P doesn't support transparency, you must Right Click> Save as> and the save in the desired destination. That should do the trick, happy photoshopping! :)

    No, if the entire background is white, you can use the Magic Eraser and it will give you a nearly perfect cut. And yes, you can Copy & Paste from a browser, and still get a transparent background. It all matters on the file type. If it's a .jpg file, expect a background. Only .gif's and .png's can have transparent backgrounds (out of the 3.) Internet Explorer does not support .png's, therefor, all images that have a transparent background in IE, will actually show like a.. light blue background color.
