    Opera > FF

as long as you dont care about skins, Opera's widgets also are much better than FF's extensions.

I like opera alot more then ff especially v9, I love how if you right clickand move the mouse in certain directions it goes forwards/backwards etc. :D
I also really like the resource usage3, way down from back when all I used was ff :)

I have been using Opera 9 beta now for about 2 months, been using Opera since they took the ads out of it and made it free, and I have not noticed any bugs whatsoever. I'm not even sure it asked me to update :|

Only beef I have with Opera 9 is that the Bittorrent thing is SOOOOOO effing slow. External Bittorrent clients are MUCH faster, but whenever you click a torrent link, it automaticly starts up the Opera Bittorrent thing, so I have to go to IE just to download a torrent file.. :(

Actually, Opera wasn't created by Mac users jealous of Firefox, because Opera was released long before Firefox was released. It was first released in 1995 I believe, but I could be wrong. It was before Firefox though, as it was only released in 2004/early 05.

thanks for posting this, otherwise i would have never seen it.. I use opera for about 70% of my browsing and firefox for the other 30%.. The reason i use both is because I like opera more and I am convinced it's just a hair faster, But I can't properly edit my Myspace with opera, and I love the Stumble addon for firefox, It's shown me tons of excellent sites. I did not get a pop up or anything from opera alerting me that there was a new version out, and I'm kinda dissapointed about that.... hey opera..... wtf? ohh well... thanks agian for sharing the update, cheers.
