Help Find New Laptop

    hey i wanted to buy a new laptop cuz my old one is pretty ----ty. i want sumthing small, quiet! QUIET!! lol doesn't have to be that small but i'll be carrying it around so pretty light would be good, and sum space cuz i might watch movies on it, so like 100 gig? or more.. hd. i guess? and like i'm not gonna game on it so it doesn't haveta be crazy for gaming but i might watch movies and photoshop.

    so please reccomend sum laptop builds and stuff and link to site where i can get it. also i'd appreciate any links to sites with special deals like discounts and cheap laptops and stuff. thanks

    So I narrowed it down to these 6 via search:

    well, the core duos are about the best for laptops these days...

    plus he'll need 1gig at least of ram to view movies..

    dunno what you searched to get that diablo, but i dont like them

    has a deticated gfx card, 1gb ram, 100 gb hdd... and yeah, you can find the rest. If I was on a budget and i had to buy right now, thats probably what i would choose.

    ps... You said you wanted it big.... but light... good luck with that.

    lol i'd rather have it a lil light than big, but like i guess as around 6 lbs is teh heaviest i want, and price range would be max around 1000.
    still looking thru teh suggested. but if you have anymore they'd be appreciated

    yes, if you want it to be choppy and skippy, then be my guest... takes alot of memory to read a movie off a DVD...

    no it doesnt, i used to have half a gig and i could watch lotr perfectly...

    I used to watch dvds perfectly with 256, I use 512 on my desktop and have never onece had an issue...
    I'll be your guest in not watching skipping movies with half a gig :P
