What kind of insensetive person looks down on someone for trying to find help, most of that post had nothing to do with going out with the girl, your focusing on the wrong things. Ad to ask that kind of thing isn't that easy, and your saying he doesn't have any balls if blah blah blah. Who are you to judge him? He wants help, if your not going to be helpful then I'm sure you wouldn't be missed in this thread...

it will hurt you from caring about her, but it will hurt her worse to know that what shes doing is the reason that she lost someone who has been there for 13+ years.

ultimatems work well from my personal experiences, stuff like, "you quit doing drugs which isnt benefiting you one bit, or you wont hear from me until you do quit" tend to work pretty well... if it doesnt, it doesnt... she doesnt care for you the way you care for her, it happens all the time and you should move on... its hard, but meh... im not into emotions and such, im more of a logical person lol

 

Just always be there for her, she'll realize soon enough.
