Ok so I got a new AirLink 802.11g Wireless Router and a Wireless PCI adapter for my new computer and it's cool, but it has problems. Ok for some strange reason, everytime I restart my computer I have to -release and -renew for the internet to work. Out of no where sometimes my internet just stops, so I have to -release, and -renew it for it to work. Also... the signal is like 100% but my download speed is really slow. I have a Roadrunner Cable and it's slow on my Wireless Router.... Anyways idea why or how to fix this?

i had the same problem too, i have road runner, you should call them, it doesnt take that long, takes about 10min to get some1 on the phone

they run some tests on the modem, and in my case it was my router that was faulty, and i got a refund for it...

Your DTIM Intervals might not be right with your router. It may be messed up. Also, check for Basic and TX Rates.

If you rerun te home network setup wizard it can rid some issues caused bu \\by tweaks if people don;t know what they are doing, say by chance dhcp was turned off at boot or soemthing of the sort :D
