well my monitor seems to be displaying odd colors. like before i reformatted my comp #f1f1f1 or #efefef or something like that used to be a light gray but now when i choose those colors it looks like olive green. and when i open images or screenshots of stuff it displays this box and its the same with illustrator. before i reformatted my comp. none of this used to happen. how can i fix this? hm.. for the colors i don't know, but i'm getting the same error message some times. I used to just drag and drop pics from the internet directly into photoshop, on some pics i got that message (for example at most pics on boyis.com) as well. On boyis this can be fixed by rightclicking image/ copy image and then go to Photoshop open new document (the size should be given already) and go to edit / paste. Dunno if this was any help to you, just wanted to let you know you are not the only one having that message displayed^^
since you say its only photoshop, im guessing its ur ps settings use these also, if its outside of photoshop, you might need to change settings on your monitor, (the buttons on the front i get the same message as you got also if you have a crt, they dont usualy have as many colors to display as a lcd monitor does...
crt= cathode ray tube, the big bulky monitors that use the same techjnology as tv's lcd= liquid crystal display=flat panels Just since you didn't know...
