I'd recommend getting a $17 Labtec headset, the mic cuts out all background noise and the sound is excellent.

If you just want headphones I'm wear a pair of these everyday for about 3-5 hrs between dj work and design work at home as to not annoy my wife.

Actual headset wise this is the alternative that has lasted me for about 3 years now...

shipping is 5$, so when you factor that in you might as wellget the moderately better set

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16826159425

i've heard good things about the company but know absolutely nothing about the product in particular.

if you'de be satisfied with a mere crappy set get the 7$ one for 12 after shipping as compared to the 8$ one for 23 after shipping, i get by ona cheap set(albiet i got mine for free so the price was right otherwise I'd probably would have dropped the extra 10$ on the better set, you can actually set the headphone on that to pick up sound signal, for me i use my crappy se to allert me if anything is coming from behind...)

    I ordered this one:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16826106931

Only problem seems that it hurts ur ear after a while but I'll figure something out..Or I'll just live with it.

but its coming in from Amazon.com (good or bad idea?) I got it with a 1-year warranty for 2 bucks.. came out all together to 22 bucks after shipping.
