k...when ever i boot up my pc, and click to start a program these pop up but i already have that installed....there anyway that i can fix that? ...or stop it? and also...my cd/dvd drives arent workin...either one of them.....but they both open and stuff...they just dont read anything....and suggestions?
Naw, cd thing isnt the problem. I have had this problem too with various other programs, etc. I don't know the answer, but ill monitor this thread, curious of the answer.
Check your startup items, office pro installs a language toolbar that likes to give out/error alot and is usually the cause of your mystery screen. Another cause is a missing office assistant startup item from a "full install". Most folks laugh but the _-_-ing failed language bar/annoyance was one of the main reasons I switched to open office after office 2003 pro came out. As far as your cd/dvd drives (Not sure if they're sata or ite/ata) but you might try switching the MB connection as well as giving the whole case a very good blow down while your in there. Hopefully not but it could just be a failing ide/sata slot or even just came loose?
It's not... this happened to me when i had Office 2003 (I have Office 2007 Beta and it doesnt happen anymore.)
Ahh now I understand your reply. I was actually talking about his cd/dvd drives for that part of my post.
ok well...i fixed my cd/dvd problem..i did a virus scan and it fixed the problem....thanks anyways....but im still having troubles with that freakin screen
