Sorry that some of us actually help people.

    --------------
Anyways, tt could be ad ware, like longhorn said, or it might be your computer overheating, or your power supply may be faulty.

    ---------------
    Btw, its "Avast" ;)

ad-aware will not get rid of trojans

    anyhow, Avast will.

    couple things it could be:
    1. overheating of cpu/video/hdd
    2. virus
    3. power supply is not getting enough power to the machine

Well technically since a trojan is really something that advertises itself as something other than what it is then somehow executes malicious code, in some cases you could call them trojans... maybe...

A Firewall can't stop Viruses, Trojans, or Spyware/Adware.

Why? Because you would have to block everything, all ports... and not accept one thing from an outside source.

Anything could have those things... so Firewalls help... but they don't "stop" anything.

He seems to be looking for a solution, not a workaround.

And if he's using iTunes with music he bought off the iTunes music store, winamp wont play the files anyways.
