Saving Problem

    I keep trying to save renders but they come up as .bmps when i come to save them. I saved about 5 then they started doing this. any ideas what i should do? ive emptied my temporary folders and all that stuff so i cant think of anything else to do. Please can someone help me? Thanks in advance

    IE
    1. Right click on the image you want to save.
    2. Choose "Save Picture As..."
    3. Ignore the "Save as Type" choice box.
    4. In the "File Name" box, type (with the quotes) "filename.filetype" - replace filename with the file name, replace filetype with png or gif or whatever.
    5. It will save it as that type.

    Firefox
    1. Right click on the image you want to save.
    2. Choose "Save Image As..."
    3. Ignore the "Save as type" choice box.
    4. In the "File Name" box, type (with the quotes) "filename.filetype" - replace filename with the file name, replace filetype with png or gif or whatever.
    5. It will save it as that type.
